About PPC Search Engine Internet Marketing
What is Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising?Ever notice the “sponsored ads” at the top and right-hand side of search pages on Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines? These are pay-per-click ads. The three primary search networks reach 95% of all search engine traffic. These are Google AdWords (includes Google, AOL, Ask.com & more), Yahoo! Search Marketing, and MSN adCenter. We’re experts in managing campaigns on all three.
Why is Pay-Per-Click (PPC) a great way to advertise?
It’s Pull, Baby -- Most advertising (newspaper, radio, TV) is “push” advertising, meaning it is pushed onto the audience (and you pay for all those impressions whether they are interested customers or not!). Pay-per-click is “pull” marketing. Advertisers pull in customers who are already interested in their products, based on the keywords they searched on. And advertisers only pay if prospective customers click on their ads. The impressions are free! A much more efficient way to advertise.
Total Control – Advertisers decide what their daily budget will be, so there aren’t any cost surprises. Advertisers decide what keywords they want their ads to show up for, what their ad should say, how much traffic they want, what page they want the traffic to come to, where and when they want their ads to appear, etc. Advertisers can even focus ads by geography and demographics. One keyword not performing well? Take it out and put that money into a different keyword that’s bringing you more conversions. With a PPC campaign, the advertiser has ultimate control. It may sound overwhelming to manage, but that’s where we step in.
